Beef and Sheep Conference 2023 in Paraguay
The agri benchmark Beef and Sheep Conference 2023 took place in Asunción, Paraguay.
The conference was held from 15.-20.06 and comprised the following elements:
15.06. Beef day 1 - Global overview and latest developments in world sheep markets, country presentations
16.06. Global Forum – Competitiveness of Paraguayan beef and sheep production, sustainability topics and analysis, best management practices from Argentina and Chile, panel discussion
17.06. Beef day 2 – International comparison, group work on Result Data Base, round table on data use, our position on net zero + zero carbon beef, next steps
Due to the low participation of sheep partners, we decided to skip the sheep day and replace by an additional field trip day.
18.-19.06. Field trips to see cow-calf, beef finishing and feedlot farms
A summary report will be published in the third quarter of 2023 and several other results will be published separately and in different formats.
